In a special project for the Malaysian Tourism Board called “Malaysia Kitchen for the World”, unique events were created to promote tourism and cultural awareness, including Malaysia’s mouthwatering cuisine from leading chefs. Starting in the Spring of 2010, glue executed Malaysian tents at Lucky Rice in DUMBO, followed by the Malaysian Night Market in the Meatpacking District in NYC. production glue executed a design concept of the first-ever “Malaysia Kitchen for the World” Food Truck, with 9 local restaurants serving free samples to the public in Manhattan and Queens. The pinnacle of the NYC-based events took place in Grand Central Terminal the Fall, with Malaysian cuisine created by notable chefs, cooking demonstrations, and unique cultural performances and decor. The partnership headed west in December with a Night Market on 3rd Street in Santa Monica, CA.
