glue returns to the Mayor’s Awards for Arts & Culture

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Academy Award-winner Meryl Streep presented the 2010 Mayor’s Awards for Arts & Culture to five individuals and organizations in recognition of their contributions to New York City culture. The 2010 NYC Handel Medallion for Distinguished Achievement in the Arts, the City’s highest honor for artistic accomplishment, was presented this year to dancer and choreographer Judith Jamison.

 

Since 2007, production glue has been the producer and technical supervisors of the Mayor’s Awards for Arts & Culture with the Mayor’s Office of Special Projects and Community Events and the Department of Cultural Affairs. This event, hosted annually by the Mayor since 2004, includes a variety of performing acts ranging from Broadway acts to large choir ensembles.
