Calvin Klein Collection hosted a private presentation at the Calvin Klein Lookspace in NYC on November 29th; inviting guests to view their latest spring/summer looks for men & women in 2013.
To oversee the presentation’s technical production, while collaborating with the Calvin Klein Visual Team, to construct their strategically simplistic & innovative set design, build custom furniture & framing, and provide lighting.
Scope of Responsibilities
- glue brought to life the clean design of the Calvin Klein Visual Team, by building a minimalistic set of flat black walls & bare framing, akin to the structure of an exposed house.
- Utilized environmental lighting effects to create contrasting shadows throughout the main presentation space, and to illuminate the product display in the structure’s “closet.”
- Originally scheduled for November 2, 2012 (postponed due to Hurricane Sandy), glue worked diligently to place all elements into storage prior to the storm, and accepted the challenge of resurrecting the set & ensuring the re-scheduled show remained on schedule.
